Canadian Brass Congratulates Sonny Kompanek

Sonny Kompanek, Chuck's classmate at Eastman
and the writer of the Brass's "famous" ballet,
Killer Tango, Bolero arrangement, and "Boy Mozart",
composed much of the music for the recent motion picture Casanova. The movie soundtrack was #1 on the
Billboard Classical Chart throughout February. Bravo
to Sonny!

been very busy since writing the epic "Ballet for
Brass", "Boy Mozart" and "Killer Tango"
for the Brass. He is now a Grammy Award winner and the
writer of, what is now considered, a standard text on
film music writing and scoring for college students. Congratulations
